Animals
Since 2013, Domaine de Palot has been home to a happy family of animals, adding a touch of charm and liveliness to our peaceful environment. At Domaine de Palot, animal life is at the heart of our daily lives, bringing joy, diversity and a unique link with nature.
Among them, our two adorable ponies, mother and son, share a striking resemblance both in their dress color and in their shoe stripes. Born in August 2013, the son could easily have become the muse of the famous chocolate “Poulain”!
Our four-legged companions are not limited to ponies. Our family also has two canine and feline members, both “Sans Domicile Fixe” at the start. One, coming from the street then passed by the SPA, and the other, arrived very small and having slipped into the hood of a car. Despite their varied origins, their black dominance makes them indistinguishable when they play together, adding a dose of humor and tenderness to our days.
In 2022, we undertook the reconstruction of our henhouse to offer a second chance to cull hens, from intensive farms. Upon arrival, these hens generously shared their eggs with us, showing their gratitude and quick adaptation to their new environment. After a period of adjustment, they are now perfectly autonomous, adding a rural atmosphere to our domain. To complete our small breeding, two ornamental hens also joined our joyful troupe.
