Domaine de Palot is a family property dating from the seventeenth century that today extends over 20 ha of wood, vineyards, meadow and park and is located in the rural town of Tresses just 10 km from Bordeaux. Discover our history!
A family story
Our history is rich and fascinating dating back to the 17th century, when it was owned by Gratien Pallot. In the 18th century, the Balguerie family took over and preserved this heritage over the generations for more than 200 years. Once a thriving dairy farm spanning more than 80 hectares, the estate was home to a hundred cash cows. The inhabitants of the village still remember the time when they came to get their litre of fresh milk from the aluminum jars, enjoying its authentic and delicious taste.
